Whether it’s fear, self-doubt, old wounds, or limiting beliefs, these energetic blocks keep us from stepping into our full power. But don’t worry, love—just as ice melts into flowing water, you can dissolve these blocks and get your energy moving again. Let’s talk about how to thaw out and step back into your magical flow.

Identifying What’s Keeping You “Frozen”

Before we can melt away the blocks, we need to understand what’s causing them. Think of this like finding the source of a frozen pipe—you have to locate the blockage before you can clear it. Often, fear is a major culprit. Whether it’s fear of failure, success, change, or even your own power, it can grip you so tightly that moving forward feels impossible. Limiting beliefs are another sneaky source of stagnation—those little whispers in your mind that say, “I can’t,” “I’m not enough,” or “This isn’t for me.” Emotional baggage can also weigh us down, as unresolved emotions from the past cling to us like ice on a riverbank. Then, there’s simple exhaustion and overwhelm—sometimes we’re just plain tired, and our energy slows to a halt. External influences, such as toxic relationships, negativity from others, or even a stagnant environment, can also contribute to the energetic freeze. Take a deep breath, grab a journal if you like, and ask yourself: What’s keeping me frozen? Trust what comes up.

Practical Steps to Release and Move Forward

Once you’ve identified the source of the freeze, it’s time to warm things up. Here are some practical ways to start shifting that energy:

  1. Shake It Off (Literally!) – Movement is magic. Dance, stretch, shake your hands, stomp your feet—physically moving your body helps break up stagnant energy.

  2. Fire & Water Visualization – Close your eyes and picture a gentle fire warming you from within, melting away what no longer serves you. Or imagine yourself standing under a warm waterfall, letting it wash away the stuck energy.

  3. Breathwork & Sound – Try deep belly breathing or sighing out loud. Humming, chanting, or even letting out a primal yell can help move trapped energy.

  4. Declutter Your Space – A cluttered environment often mirrors a cluttered mind. Clear out anything that feels heavy or stagnant in your home.

  5. Journaling & Reflection – Write down what’s been holding you back, then (safely) burn the paper as a symbol of release.

  6. Get Outside – Nature is a natural energy cleanser. Stand in the sun, let the wind move through your hair, or walk barefoot on the earth.


A Spell to Melt Away Energetic Blocks

This simple yet powerful spell will help you break free from energetic blocks and restore your flow.

You’ll need:

  • A small bowl of warm water

  • A candle (white or orange for renewal, blue for emotional release, or red for action)

  • A pinch of salt

  • A small piece of ice (representing your energetic block)

The Ritual:

  1. Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Light your candle and take a few deep breaths.

  2. Hold the piece of ice in your hands. Focus on what’s been keeping you stuck—name it, feel it, acknowledge it.

  3. Drop the ice into the bowl of warm water, saying: " Frozen fear, doubt, and past unknown, Melt away, be gone, be shown. I release what holds me tight, And step into my guiding light."

  4. Watch the ice melt, knowing that just like the ice, your block is dissolving.

  5. Sprinkle a pinch of salt into the water for purification, then pour the water outside or down the drain, visualizing yourself free and flowing.
