Shadow work is a profound and transformative process, but when we begin to explore our inner selves, we often encounter parts of us that feel small, vulnerable, and childlike—this is what many call the “inner child.”
The inner child represents our earliest emotional experiences, often carrying the wounds, fears, and unmet needs from childhood that still affect our lives today. Healing the inner child through shadow work allows us to address these past hurts and bring love, safety, and compassion to the parts of ourselves that were left behind.
